The professionalism and dedication shown from our initial meeting to the completion of the project is commended. We'd heard so many horror stories about constructing pools for that reason; we interviewed several companies in our quest for a reputable company. We always seemed to leave the interview with more questions than answers, until our interview with Custom Pools. After our initial meeting with Irv, we knew that we'd chosen the right company. Irv never pressured us into anything, gave sound advice, cleared doubts and always suggested alternatives that would lower the construction cost instead of raising it. Irv's knowledge is remarkable. We're still searching for a pool question that he doesn't know the answer to.
- John, we appreciate your diligence in overseeing the construction process from start to finish. Your resolution of the minor problems and attention to the finest detail shows your dedication, commitment and professionalism. - ...We are writing this letter to you and Custom Pools to personally thank you for your professionalism and for you to show this letter to any prospective clients.
- After a few years of debating, we finally decided to have an in-ground pool installed. Reading numerous articles and hearing horror stories about pool contractors had us nervously asking, "Who do we use"? A fellow co-worker told us that she knew someone who had a pool business in Miami but lived in Key Largo. The thought of a "local" appealed to us so we made an appointment with John Pieklo from Custom Pools. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge and genuine concern. Common sense would dictate to at least get two estimates when spending this amount of money, but our gut feeling was to go with Custom Pools.We signed a contract shortly thereafter.
- John told us the pool installation should take between 6-8 weeks. Knowing the nature of the construction trade we prepared ourselves for about 10 weeks. From day one, every step of the installation proceeded on time. The different crews that showed up were all experienced professionals who took pride in their prospective trades. Our trip to the Miami office to pick out our tile combinations was also a pleasant experience. His staff made us feel completely at ease and there was a vast array of options to choose from.
- The entire project only took 6 weeks, which included an approximate 7-10 day delay due to circumstances beyond both party's control. Needless to say, we are totally satisfied with our beautiful pool. It is everything we expected and more. Anyone wishing to see it please contact John to schedule an appointment.
