Our Company Background

| Custom Pools was founded in 1959 by Irv Chazen as Dade Pool Company. Dade Pool Company constructed both residential and commercial swimming pools and spas throughout the entire Miami, Florida area. In 1964, the company began its Shotcrete and Gunite operations as Certified Gunite Company. The company constructed swimming pools for major developers and contractors. It also provided the service of installing gunite and shotcrete concrete into pools that were being constructed by other swimming pool companies. In 1979, the company expanded its operations to include building pools and spas for the general public as Custom Pools. |

 Marilyn Schwitzer Marilyn is the Vice President and General Manager of Custom Pools. Her entire life has been spent in the pool and spa industry. She is an expert in the field of pool water chemistry and issues related to pool maintenance. Marilyn works closely with every one of our customers to ensure their complete satisfaction. |
